IrfAn and ThOmAs...

I am not good on buying toys for Irfan... I admit that, last time I just bought anything that may be interesting for him which always end up buying car, lorry, tricycle, ball, books and so on... And to make my job easier, I always asked him to pick any toys that he likes without thinking too much about their pro n cons for my DS. Unfortunately, he will play with them just for a few days only because he easily get bored...He cannot stay still for more than 5 minutes to listen any story book that I read for him even before to bed. I can see that he is not really like his toys and not into his books! He prefers to play cooking and cutting real vegetable by using the real plate, fork and spoon from our kitchen! iya... mama ok for it, as long as he is happy. However, lately mama learnt more things about Irfan, he loves more to something that he can build or anything that he can do by himself! He preferred toys without batteries! One of the toy that he loves most is his Thomas n Friends train set. I bought this T&F train set last December and he keeps playing with them everyday until now! The most interesting part is, he can build the track on his own and I always excited to listen the story "behind the scene" he created while he's playing.. hihihi He also loves T&F TV series since he was 1 year old... He knows almost all the engine characters such as James, Percy, Gordon, Salty, Duncan, Emily, Henry and Thomas itself! Even mama sometimes get confused between James and Thomas because they both are blue but he can recognize which one of them correctly! "WELCOME TO THE ISLAND OF SODOR!" hehehe Hopefully by playing this T&F at least this activity can stimulate his mental capabilities and his creativity... Or as long as he is happy, I am satisfied enuf! Two new things I learnt from Irfan n his Thomas are,1'st, I believed that the happiness in our child soul is the most important because this is the "key" to open up their learning process...Irfan learnt a lot form this Thomas, one of them is he recognise blue, red n yellow colors from it, not from his "My first color book"! 2'nd, books are not guarantee for our child's success in their future, even if he can read at 3 years old! I believed the social skill how to face the real world now days is more important!
Anyhow, I am always proud of you... Mama sayang Irfan eventhough mama knows, Irfan ayaaang omes and mnkeee!!

Irfan in a new daycare...

I never update my blog for almost 1 week... sigh emmm iya, I've been busy lately, usually mama and papa Irfan's work will be busier in January and July.. but this month, especially this week our life is busier because of our daily routine is changing since Irfan going in to a new daycare! yayyyyyy finally mama and papa are happy leaving Irfan in the new daycare now! We'd been thinking to change his daycare since last November, however this week seems the most right time for us to make a move! He loves his new school though we have to drive about almost 1 hour daily to send and fetch him! ya, here in KK sounds a little bit strange if they heard we have to drive for 1 hour just for sending our child to a daycare! Most of my friend said we both "sengaja cari masalah"! But me and my dear hubby chubby decided to ignore them.. iya, maybe this is not the best decision yet, but so far Irfan is getting better and happier... The most important for us is to make Irfan happy...

14'th January 2008-First day in school, yes, he cried out of loud begging us not to leave him, but after a few minutes he was fine even he can follow the schedule already! And the most unforgettable thing that makes mama Irfan really PINGSAN is, Irfan starts fully diaperless!! I am happy but at the same time I am sad, seriously because I know I cannot use CD anymore!! However, I salute Irfan's teacher for willing to train Irfan in school.. I know some of school refused to do so... So, now I declare officially Irfan stop using CD! "PINGSAN!!"

15'th January 2008- Second day in school, mama was "PINGSAN" again because he didn't cry at all while we left him! In the morning I was preparing myself for his "cranky situation" but everything turns to be opposite! He looks so happy saying good bye n gave me his flying kiss... siap cakap " ieeyouu = I love you!" some more!!! So proud for him because I just drop him at the gate on his 2'nd day at school...!

16th January 2008- Third day in school, teacher said Irfan did pinch his friend once today!! waduhhhh he is brave enough already to pinch some one in a new school??? Mama pingsan again, but this is normal I think for children in his age making mistake in the process of learning to share... as long as he still under control and supervision, mama still ok hihihi

I wish I can be SAHM and taking care of my own child... But I don't think I can make this wish come true. I always pray Irfan will enjoy his life in school everyday... learn how to play with others.. learn how to share toys with friends... Also at least he knows how to socialize later ... I know so far he is happy with his new school, I hope our decision is all worth after all.

Selamat Tahun Baru Hijrah!

Selamat Tahun Baru 1 Muharram 1429H kepada semua umat Islam yang menyambut tahun baru pada hari ini.. Tahun Hijrah dan Tahun Masihi merupakan dua tarikh yang masyhur dan dikenali di kalangan masyarakat Islam khususnya. Walaupun mempunyai sejarah berbeza namun keduanya merupakan tarikh yang digunapakai dan kadangkala digabungkan dalam satu kalendar di Malaysia. Mengikut sejarah, tahun Hijrah dikira berdasarkan penghijrahan Nabi Muhammad s.a.w dari Mekah ke Madinah... manakala tahun Masihi di kira mengikut kelahiran Nabi Isa a.s Tahun Hijrah secara khusus hanya terkenal dalam masyarakat dan dunia Islam. Ia dikaitkan secara langsung dengan Islam. Manakala awal tahunnya pula dijadikan antara hari-hari kebesaran Islam.Tahun Masihi pula memang dikenali oleh masyarakat antarabangsa kerana seluruh dunia menjadikannya tarikh utama di dalam kalendar mereka. Awal tahunnya dijadikan hari besar dan dirayakan, termasuk lah rakyaat Malaysia.. Azam tahun baru mama Irfan..??

Irfan got this mnkee a.k.a monkey form his aunty. He loves this monkey so much, so when he found out mnkee armpit tear off he feels so upset for his mnkee and ask mama to put some medicine on it! errrrrr mama pening for a while.. but then I know what is the best "medicine" I can give to mnkee!

Yayyyy It's New Year!!

Happy New year 2008 to all of you then..
May all the new year resolutions will come true and
may all of us be bless with joyful and happiness for this 2008 ahead!!

All about cloth ... and cloth...

Before I get married, I never imagine that one day I will use cloth diaper for my children or any cloth pad for myself! But now everything in my life seems turning into cloths... Starts with cloth diapering.. cloth wipes... then cloth pads and now facial cloths! Why? ermm honestly, they really suite my life style! Ya, maybe some might think, "eeuwwww how gross?" but for me I can handle all the "grossy things" with no sweat! But I think maybe it just me, and I believe everyone got their own style and their own preference...

I started with only 2 cloth pads for the 1'st time trying... I bought 1 regular and 1 heavy flow Imse Vimse cloth pad. Why 2 only? hihihi Actually I plan to have another child and hoping that my period won't come but I was wrong, which end up I bought some more pads from miabambina.com on the following month since I feel more comfortable with the dry and healthier feelings on it compare to dispo one.. Then I bought Mamapads and their panty liners! Now I also have Ultimate Heavy & regular flow Organic bamboo velour, Minkee Ultimates!, Endura pads and liners and also hemp silk liners. Lately I feel more comfortable using fully cloth pads during my period and cloth panty liner daily!...Let me share how do I wash them. Usually I'll rinse the soiled pad first, then soak about 1-2 hours with Scarlet Secret before I wash them in washing machine together with my son cloth diaper. I don't mind washing them all together since I also rinse all my son's CD before I dump into my washing machine. Before Sandra gave me to try the Scarlet Secret last month, I just soak them with little bit of detergent actually, Trojan also works nicely to remove all the stain. But Scarlet Secret works more effectively which they always give "new look" and softens my cloth pad after few times washing! Amazing but truth!

Last few days, I started using facial cloth too! I used them for scrubbing, removing makeup and applying toner!They are great and also easy to wash! I used same method of washing as my cloth pad. I am not sure how much I can save costs by using this facial cloth since I can get cotton balls wipes easily and cheap, but in terms of my own satisfaction on using cloth, yes I am satisfy and happy enough to proceed using this facial cloths more and more in future!... and now I am really into cloth and cloth!
